FIFAV – Adventure Film & Book Festival, La Rochelle
The FIFAV – International Adventure Film and Book Festival of La Rochelle – is the must-attend event for nature lovers and anyone who enjoys a good true story, well told.
From 16 to 22 November 2026, the FIFAV celebrates adventure in all its forms: mountains, sea, and beyond, always through real stories shared via films, books, podcasts, exhibitions, talks and workshops. The programme centres on three themes — Nature, Culture, Adventure — with 130 screenings at the Espace Encan in La Rochelle.
A peaceful stay just outside the festival buzz: just 15 minutes from the Espace Encan, Hôtel Le Rivage offers a quiet seafront base to fully enjoy the screenings and encounters while keeping the calm of Châtelaillon-Plage in the evening.
